Create a Solflare mobile wallet with a recovery phrase

Set up a new Solflare wallet on iOS or Android.

Before you start

  • A mobile device running iOS or Android.
  • Solflare’s mobile app.

Steps

  1. Download and open Solflare’s mobile app, then select “Create a new wallet.”

  2. Review the recovery-phrase storage reminders and select “Continue.”

  3. Write down the 12-word recovery phrase word for word. The guide recommends writing it physically and never storing it on a computer or internet-connected device.

  4. Choose the two requested random words from the phrase, then set a passcode.

Expected outcome

The Solflare mobile wallet is set up.
