Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when you want a locally run bot to place BNB-USD prediction bets on one of its two documented platforms according to a selected strategy.
Who it is for
- People seeking to automate BNB-USD prediction bets on PancakeSwap Prediction V2 or CandleGenie Prediction V3.
- TypeScript and Node.js users comfortable configuring a BSC wallet and running command-line software.
Documented uses
- Place prediction bets using an against-the-majority or with-the-majority strategy.
- Automate claims of winnings and handle refunds for invalid rounds.
- Monitor betting activity through console output.
Requirements & limits
The repository is public and licensed under MIT. The documented application runs from the command line and requires a wallet private key for its primary betting function.
- Platform choice determines the documented command: npm run start for PancakeSwap and npm run cg for CandleGenie.
- The against strategy is the default; --with selects the documented majority-following option.
- BET_AMOUNT is optional and defaults to 0.1 BNB per round according to the README.
- The README describes a 2% transfer of winnings to a specified address.
- The documented platform integrations do not establish compatibility with other prediction platforms.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Prepare PredictionBot for a platform and strategy
Install and configure the bot, then select its documented platform entry point and strategy.
Before you start
- Node.js version 14 or higher
- npm or yarn
- A BSC wallet with BNB for betting and gas
- The wallet private key
Steps
Clone the repository and enter its project directory.
Install dependencies with npm install or yarn install.
Set PRIVATE_KEY in a root-level .env file; optionally set BET_AMOUNT, which defaults to 0.1 BNB per round in the README.
For PancakeSwap, use npm run start by default or append -- --with for the with strategy. For CandleGenie, use npm run cg or npm run cg -- --with.
Expected outcome
The documented command selects PancakeSwap or CandleGenie and the default against-majority strategy or the with-majority option.
Guide limitations
- A funded wallet is required for betting, and BNB is needed for gas.
- The README describes BSC mainnet as the default network.
- The project warns that betting involves financial risk and its strategies may not work in every market condition.
- The README says 2% of winnings are sent to a specified address.
