Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when a Flow application needs contract-level listing resources, event-based marketplace discovery, or sale proceeds distributed across multiple accounts.
Who it is for
- Developers building NFT marketplaces or marketplace integrations on Flow.
- Sellers and teams that want to manage NFT listings across multiple marketplaces.
- Marketplace and aggregation services that monitor listing events and select items to display.
Documented uses
- Create and manage NFT sale listings within a seller account’s Storefront.
- Let marketplace consumers discover listings through emitted events.
- Configure fractional payments such as royalties, fees or commissions for predefined recipient accounts.
- Build marketplace logic that can filter consumed listings by commission terms.
Requirements & limits
The repository is public and licensed under the Unlicense. It documents NFTStorefrontV2 contract addresses for testnet, previewnet and mainnet, plus emulator and testing-framework addresses.
- The contract is written in Cadence and targets the Flow network.
- A listing is a transactable resource that points to an NFT; it is not itself the NFT.
- Each seller account installs a Storefront, which can contain listings for different NFT types.
- Marketplaces may consume listing events and filter listings based on commission rates.
- The documented project dependency command targets the mainnet contract; separate addresses are listed for emulator and testing-framework imports.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Add NFTStorefrontV2 as a Flow project dependency
Install the V2 contract dependency and configure the import addresses for a Flow project.
Before you start
- A Flow project using the Flow dependency manager.
- A project flow.json file.
Steps
Install the mainnet dependency with
flow dependencies install mainnet://0x4eb8a10cb9f87357.NFTStorefrontV2.Use the repository’s listed emulator and testing-framework addresses for the corresponding import addresses in flow.json.
Expected outcome
NFTStorefrontV2 is added as a project dependency with import addresses specified for emulator and testing environments.
Guide limitations
- This covers dependency installation and import-address configuration, not listing creation or marketplace execution.
