Practical overview
When it fits
Use Clawpanel when you need a shared management interface for one or more of its supported agent frameworks, especially for setup, configuration diagnosis or framework-specific operations.
Who it is for
- People managing more than one supported AI agent framework.
- Operators who want a visual panel for agent setup, diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Hermes Agent users who want to inspect sessions, memory, persona settings and tool activity.
- Users deploying the documented Web mode on ARM64 boards or server environments.
Documented uses
- Install and manage supported agent frameworks from a panel.
- Diagnose configuration problems and troubleshoot or repair errors with assistant support.
- Inspect Hermes Agent sessions, message flows, memory files, persona settings and tool-call details.
- Manage a DeepSeek Harness runtime and use its in-panel Web workbench.
- Deploy the Web mode on supported Node.js-based server environments.
Requirements & limits
- The documented framework list includes OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, DeepSeek Harness and OpenCode; Pi support is labeled experimental.
- DeepSeek Harness has specifically described runtime, workbench and model-setting workflows; do not assume every framework has the same controls.
- The desktop application uses Tauri v2. The separately documented Web mode requires Node.js 18+ for its basic backend and recommends Node.js 24.16.0+ (24.x) for full engine deployment.
- The Web mode is documented for ARM64 boards and server deployments without a graphical interface.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Install ClawPanel and complete first-run setup
Set up ClawPanel on a supported desktop platform and reach its runtime console.
Before you start
- Windows 10 64-bit, macOS 12 or later, or Ubuntu 20.04+/Debian 11+.
Steps
Open the ClawPanel download page and choose the package for your platform.
Install the downloaded package and open ClawPanel.
Complete the first-run setup.
Connect or install the runtime you want to manage, then use the console to review status, versions, and logs.
Expected outcome
ClawPanel is set up with a runtime connected or installed, and its console can be used to inspect status, versions, and logs.
Guide limitations
- The documented quick start does not specify individual installer interactions or runtime-specific configuration steps.
- The guide covers initial setup and console inspection, not subsequent configuration or troubleshooting.
