AI Media Generator

AI Media Generator is an MIT-licensed coding-agent skill that guides Claude Code, Codex and compatible Skills-format clients in selecting generative-media platforms and crafting image, video and music prompts tailored to them. It also includes browser automation instructions and site profiles for selected services.

Understand the project

Practical overview

When it fits

Use it when prompt conventions differ across the media platform you plan to use, or when you want an agent to follow a documented browser workflow for a supported service.

Who it is for

  • Creators who want an agent to translate a media brief into a prompt tailored to a particular generator.
  • Codex or Claude Code users who want to install a reusable skill for generative-media prompting.
  • Users seeking browser-based submission workflows for services with a documented site profile.

Documented uses

  • Choose a generative platform suited to an image, video or music request.
  • Structure a prompt using platform-specific vocabulary and guidance.
  • Submit prompts through a browser workflow for selected services when the required browser tooling and account are available.
Before you choose

Requirements & limits

The repository lists an MIT license. Browser automation requires a compatible browser-control tool or MCP server; driving a specific platform also requires a logged-in account in the same browser session.

  • Prompt references cover more than 14 platforms, but browser automation coverage is narrower: the README lists site profiles for OiiOii.ai, Google Flow, Kling and Suno.
  • The README labels some platform profiles as stubs; prompt guidance for a platform does not imply a completed browser workflow.
  • Installation targets a client skills directory, and clients must support the Skills format.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Install the skill for Claude Code or Codex

Place the repository in a client skills directory so the client can discover its SKILL.md file.

Before you start

  • Codex, Claude Code, or another client supporting the Skills format
  • Git

Steps

  1. Clone the repository into the skills directory used by your client.

  2. For per-user Codex, use ~/.codex/skills/ai-media-generator; for per-user Claude Code, use ~/.claude/skills/ai-media-generator.

  3. For a Claude Code project-level installation, use ./.claude/skills/ai-media-generator.

Expected outcome

The skill files are placed in a configured skills directory where Codex or Claude Code can discover SKILL.md.

Guide limitations

  • These steps describe installation only, not generation or browser automation.
  • Other clients must support the Skills format.
