Solana Arbitrage Bot Offchain

Solana Arbitrage Bot Offchain is a Rust command-line application that requests Jupiter quotes, checks configured Solana token trades for profitability, and can submit transactions. It supports Kamino flash loans and configurable Jito submission, with transaction simulation enabled by default.

Understand the project

Practical overview

When it fits

Use it when you want a configurable CLI workflow for checking and submitting Solana arbitrage trades rather than placing swaps manually through an exchange interface.

Who it is for

  • Solana users configuring automated arbitrage checks for selected token pairs and trade sizes.
  • Operators prepared to manage RPC and signing configuration and, when using the documented protection flow, deploy the profit-protection program.

Documented uses

  • Monitor Jupiter quotes for configured input and output mints.
  • Assess a trade against costs including Kamino flash-loan fees.
  • Simulate configured transactions by default, or configure transaction submission.
Before you choose

Requirements & limits

The public GitHub repository describes the code as open source and says the software is free.

  • The project is a Rust CLI, not a hosted trading dashboard.
  • Configuration includes a private key and RPC endpoint.
  • Kamino is the documented supported flash-loan platform; its fee is included in profitability checks.
  • Simulation defaults to true; the README says to set it to false for production use.
  • The README says the profit-protection program must be deployed and its program ID configured before use.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Create and configure the bot's TOML file

Prepare the configuration file the command-line bot uses for its Solana arbitrage run.

Before you start

  • The arbitrage-bot executable
  • A config.example.toml file if using the copy method
  • Values for private_key, rpc_endpoint, input_mint, output_mint, input_amount and slippage_bps

Steps

  1. Run arbitrage-bot init or copy config.example.toml to config.toml.

  2. Place config.toml in the same directory as the executable.

  3. Edit the configuration to enter the listed key, RPC, token, amount and slippage values.

Expected outcome

A configuration file is prepared for the bot's run command.

Guide limitations

  • The README separately requires deployment of the profit-protection program and configuration of its program ID before use.
  • Creating the file does not establish that a trade will be profitable or succeed.
