Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when you want a locally run scanner for Jupiter-based Solana round trips and need configurable token lists or DEX route filters, with the option to attempt live execution.
Who it is for
- Solana users who want to inspect estimated round-trip swap returns across configured tokens.
- Developers or traders comfortable configuring and running a JavaScript command-line project.
Documented uses
- Scan a supplied token-mint list for possible USDC round-trip routes.
- Estimate net returns using quoted swaps, slippage and fees.
- Filter candidate routes by included or excluded DEXs.
- Optionally submit trades, including through Jito bundles.
Requirements & limits
The project is distributed as a public GitHub repository with an MIT license. The README provides setup instructions for Windows, macOS and Linux.
- It is a CLI project that users configure and run, rather than a hosted trading interface.
- The README describes dry-run and live-trading options; live use requires private-key configuration.
- Jupiter and RPC rate limits may occur under load, according to the README.
- Jito bundle support is documented, with sequential-mode fallback when bundles are unavailable.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Set up the command-line bot
Prepare the project and start the documented command-line entry point.
Before you start
- A Windows, macOS or Linux environment
- The project files, including .env.example
- Node.js and npm
Steps
Configure the .env settings and rename .env.example to .env.
From the project folder, run npm install.
Start the bot with node memes.js.
Expected outcome
The command-line bot starts and loads its configured settings.
Guide limitations
- This setup procedure does not establish that live trading will succeed.
- The README reports that Jupiter or RPC rate limits may occur under load.
Configure the token scan list
Choose which token mints the bot loads when it starts.
Before you start
- The project files
- A token mint for each intended list entry
Steps
Edit memes.txt.
Put one token mint on each line.
Start the bot; it loads the list on startup.
Expected outcome
The bot scans the configured token list.
Guide limitations
- Changing the list does not guarantee a profitable route or successful trade.
