Solana Copy Trading Bot Rust

Solana Copy Trading Bot Rust is a self-hosted Rust application that monitors selected Solana wallets, decodes supported decentralized-exchange instructions, and rebroadcasts reconstructed trades. Its README lists Pump.fun, LaunchLab, Raydium AMM, CPMM and CLMM, and PumpSwap coverage, with configurable transaction budgets, priority fees, and automated sell rules.

Understand the project

Practical overview

When it fits

Use it when you need a self-hosted, code-based workflow for monitoring selected Solana wallets and copying supported DEX trades, rather than a hosted trading dashboard.

Who it is for

  • Developers who want to run or adapt a Rust-based Solana wallet-copying service.
  • Operators seeking to mirror selected wallets across the DEX venues named in the project documentation.

Documented uses

  • Monitor a chosen wallet and decode supported trade activity.
  • Reconstruct and rebroadcast matching trades with configurable purchase size, slippage, compute budget and priority fees.
  • Set automated take-profit, stop-loss, trailing-stop or time-based sell conditions.
Before you choose

Requirements & limits

The repository is public on GitHub and documents running the application locally with Cargo.

  • The README names specific supported venues and pool types; its decoder and instruction coverage is not presented as universal Solana DEX support.
  • Operation requires RPC and gRPC configuration, a target wallet, public and private key values, and trade settings.
  • Compute-budget and priority-fee instructions are skipped when their values are unset or zero.
  • Optional Jito bundle support is described for optimized transaction handling.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Configure and start the local trade monitor

Set the documented environment values and start the Rust monitor locally.

Before you start

  • Rust toolchain installed with rustup; nightly is not required.
  • RPC and local gRPC endpoint values.
  • Target wallet, public key and private key values.
  • A root-level .env file with execution settings.

Steps

  1. Create a .env file in the repository root and set RPC_URL, LOCAL_GRPC_URL, TARGET_WALLET, PUBKEY and PRIVATE_KEY.

  2. Set the required trade parameters, such as BUY_SOL_AMOUNT and SLIPPAGE; configure compute budget and priority fee values if needed.

  3. Run cargo fetch to fetch dependencies.

  4. Run cargo run --release to start the monitor and inspect timestamped logs.

Expected outcome

The local monitor starts and logs decoded events, latency measurements, and transaction signatures or RPC error payloads.

Guide limitations

  • The repository documents setup and launch but does not establish that a particular RPC or gRPC service, wallet, or configuration will work.
  • Trade execution uses configured wallet credentials and settings; successful submission is not guaranteed.
