Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when a Go application already has Solana transaction data and needs structured DEX, liquidity, launchpad, or transfer results.
Who it is for
- Go developers building Solana transaction indexers
- Teams adding parsed swap details to transaction analytics or reporting services
- Developers monitoring DEX liquidity or meme-launchpad activity
Documented uses
- Extract trade direction, token amounts, mints, pool information, and fee details from Solana transaction data.
- Represent multi-hop or routed swaps as individual trades and, when configured, an aggregate trade.
- Identify liquidity changes, launchpad actions, and token transfers for supported programs.
- Feed transaction-derived events into an indexer, monitoring pipeline, or analytics service.
Requirements & limits
The public repository displays an MIT license and specifies Go 1.22 or newer.
- The parser consumes transaction data supplied by the integrating application; the documented example uses a getTransaction RPC result.
- Version 1 transaction input requires an appropriate RPC response; the README recommends JSON encoding with maxSupportedTransactionVersion set to 1.
- Aggregate-trade and unknown-DEX behavior varies with parser configuration.
- The README lists parser support across Jupiter, Raydium, Meteora, Pump.fun, Moonit, and additional programs.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Parse a Solana transaction with ParseAll
Convert a transaction response into structured trade and event results in a Go program.
Before you start
- Go 1.22 or newer
- A transaction result from Solana getTransaction RPC, supplied as JSON or jsonParsed input
Steps
Add the library with the command below.
go get github.com/DefaultPerson/solana-dex-parser-goRead the transaction JSON and decode it into
adapter.SolanaTransaction.Create a parser with
dexparser.NewDexParser()and callParseAll(&tx, nil).Check the result state, then read the returned trades and events.
Expected outcome
A ParseResult containing parsed transaction status and, where present, structured trades and meme-launchpad events.
Guide limitations
- For version 1 transactions, the README specifies JSON encoding with maxSupportedTransactionVersion set to 1; it notes that jsonParsed input is accepted too.
- A nil configuration parses everything, while a zero-value ParseConfig omits AggregateTrade and disables TryUnknownDEX.
