Understand the project

Practical overview

When it fits

Use it when a website needs an embedded NFT mint action connected to a compatible contract, with the mint flow initiated from a page button.

Who it is for

  • Website owners who want visitors to mint NFTs from a Webflow, Wix or WordPress page.
  • Webflow builders who can configure an Embedded HTML block and button ID.
  • Developers adapting the open-source widget for contract methods beyond the documented requirements.

Documented uses

  • Configure an NFT mint-button embed for a website.
  • Connect a site button to an NFT contract and selected network.
  • Show minted and total-supply counters using page elements.
  • Adapt the widget code when a contract does not meet the listed method requirements.

Requirements & limits

The project is published under the MIT license. The README states that Webflow Embedded HTML blocks require at least a Basic site plan. It also mentions paying to remove a watermark in the embed experience.

  • Check the NFT contract’s public methods and verification status before choosing the embed configuration.
  • Webflow installation uses an Embedded HTML block and a button ID of mint-button.
  • The README describes Ethereum and Polygon network IDs and also names Optimism and Arbitrum as supported chains.
  • The mint button prompts the visitor to connect a wallet; a separate connect button is described as optional for the page design.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Add the mint widget to a Webflow page

Place the documented NFT mint widget and button on a Webflow site.

Before you start

  • A Webflow site plan of at least Basic, as specified for Embedded HTML blocks.
  • An NFT contract address and its target network.
  • For a contract not deployed through Buildship: Etherscan verification and the documented public contract methods, or its ABI if unverified.

Steps

  1. In the Webflow editor, add an Embedded HTML code block.

  2. Add the widget script and stylesheet, and configure the contract address and network in the embed code.

  3. Create a Webflow button and set its ID to mint-button.

Expected outcome

A Webflow page configured with the project’s mint-button widget.

Guide limitations

  • Contracts not deployed through Buildship must meet the README’s method requirements; unverified contracts require an ABI in the embed.
  • The instructions describe configuration, not a verified transaction or successful mint.
