Requirements & limits

The repository documents global installation through npm, Yarn or pnpm and identifies the project as MIT-licensed.

  • The interface is a CLI built with Node.js and Ink rather than a graphical wallet.
  • Wallet data is stored encrypted on disk, but the project notes that local machine compromise can still expose funds.
  • WalletConnect typed-data methods and eth_sendRawTransaction are listed as unsupported.
  • The project states that it has no formal security audit.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
