Practical overview
When it fits
Use it to connect Solana wallet holdings with collector badges and a shareable public profile, or to review the repository’s documented app and API architecture.
Who it is for
- Solana NFT collectors who want to display verified holdings and collection-related badges.
- Communities seeking public collector profiles and leaderboard rankings.
- Developers reviewing a documented Next.js frontend and Express API for a Solana NFT collector experience.
Documented uses
- Authenticate a collector using a wallet-signed nonce.
- Sync and display verified NFT holdings.
- Award badges using rules based on NFT metadata and on-chain behaviour.
- Present public collector profiles and leaderboard rankings.
- Optionally link a Twitter identity to a wallet.
Requirements & limits
- The platform depends on wallet authentication and Solana NFT ownership.
- The documented stack separates a Next.js collector frontend from an Express API backed by PostgreSQL and Prisma.
- The repository is public, but the provided metadata lists no license; public access does not establish permission to reuse the code.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Prepare the Teddies Platform development environment
Install repository dependencies, prepare the backend Prisma client and migrations, and run the development apps.
Before you start
- A checkout of the Teddies Platform repository.
- pnpm installed.
- A configured PostgreSQL database for the backend; the repository uses PostgreSQL through Prisma.
Steps
From the repository root, install dependencies with
pnpm install.From
apps/backend, runpnpm prisma migrate deployand thenpnpm prisma generate.Return to the repository root and run
pnpm devto start both apps through Turborepo.
Expected outcome
Dependencies and backend database artifacts are prepared, and the documented development command runs both apps.
Guide limitations
- A PostgreSQL configuration is required, but the setup values and database provisioning steps are not specified.
- The guide covers local development, not production deployment.
