Requirements & limits

The project is a public repository under the Apache-2.0 license. Its documented agent setup requires Telegram API credentials, an AI Gateway API key and Nia credentials.

  • The reply agent and standalone MCP server are separate usage paths; the README describes the MCP server as usable without the AI agent.
  • The agent requires both Telegram access credentials and credentials for its AI and retrieval services.
  • The documented stack includes a TypeScript CLI agent and Python Telegram bridge, with Claude Sonnet and Nia as service components.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
