Understand the project

Practical overview

When it fits

Use it when you want a self-configured Telegram-to-Raydium workflow for manual or automated Solana token buys, with trade history and take-profit selling logic.

Who it is for

  • Solana traders who want to connect token-address signals from a Telegram channel to Raydium swap workflows.
  • Developers who want to configure a TypeScript Telegram trading bot with simulation, SQLite trade tracking and take-profit logic.

Documented uses

  • Extract Solana mint addresses from messages in a configured Telegram signal channel.
  • Initiate a manual buy by entering a SOL amount and token mint address in Telegram.
  • Run an automated signal-monitoring buy loop and take-profit sell logic.
  • Simulate swap actions before enabling transaction execution.
Before you choose

Requirements & limits

The project is publicly visible on GitHub. Its documented interface is a Telegram bot; no HTTP API is exposed.

  • The swap setting defaults to simulation; transaction execution requires changing executeSwap.
  • The bot requires a base58-encoded wallet secret key and credentials for Telegram, RPC access, Moralis, Bitquery and FalconHit.
  • Take-profit selling is automated; the Telegram Sell button does not provide a manual sell-now flow.
  • The README describes the project as personal and not public production-ready software.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Configure and start the Telegram trading bot

Prepare the documented environment and launch the bot for Telegram interaction.

Before you start

  • Node.js project environment and Yarn or NPM tooling.
  • Telegram bot token, Solana RPC HTTP and WebSocket endpoints, wallet secret key, and Moralis, Bitquery and FalconHit credentials.
  • A Telegram signal channel username configured in the source.

Steps

  1. Clone the repository and install dependencies with yarn install.

  2. Create a .env file from env.example and fill in the required credentials and endpoints.

  3. Set the signal-channel username in src/startTrade.ts as needed.

  4. Run yarn start, open a chat with the Telegram bot, and send /start.

Expected outcome

The documented Telegram menu provides manual-buy and auto-buy entry points.

Guide limitations

  • The README labels the project a personal bot, not a public production-ready system.
  • Swap execution defaults to simulation; actual transaction submission requires changing executeSwap in src/Raydium/swapConfig.ts.
  • The Telegram Sell button is not a manual sell-now function; selling is driven by take-profit logic.
