Understand the project

Practical overview

When it fits

Use it when working with a Solana deployment where programmable NFTs need a CLI-managed staking pool and configurable token rewards.

Who it is for

  • Solana developers deploying or adapting a programmable-NFT staking pool.
  • Pool administrators managing reward settings and pool state.
  • Users staking or unstaking pNFTs and checking or claiming rewards through CLI commands.

Documented uses

  • Build and deploy the Anchor staking program and initialize a global pool.
  • Set reward token details, enable or disable distribution, and adjust the daily reward rate.
  • Stake or unstake a pNFT, inspect staking status, and claim accumulated rewards.
  • Use TypeScript transaction builders and status-query helpers as a basis for a staking interface.

Requirements & limits

  • The project includes both the on-chain Anchor program and CLI operations; it is not documented as a hosted graphical staking service.
  • A funded Solana wallet keypair is listed as a prerequisite for building or running the project.
  • Rewards depend on configured reward settings; when enabled, the reward vault must be funded with the configured reward token mint.
  • The repository is public and open source, but its license is unspecified.
  • The documented TypeScript helpers may support a UI, but UI integration is marked Likely compatible rather than demonstrated.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Configure the CLI for a Solana environment

Set the provider, program ID, cluster, RPC endpoint and wallet path used by the program and CLI.

Before you start

  • Node.js and Yarn
  • Rust and Solana CLI
  • Anchor CLI
  • A funded Solana wallet keypair

Steps

  1. Install the project dependencies with yarn.

  2. Set the Anchor provider, cluster and deployed program address in Anchor.toml.

  3. Keep the program ID synchronized in programs/staking/src/lib.rs and lib/constant.ts.

  4. Set CLI defaults in cli/command.ts, or pass --env, --rpc and --keypair options to supported commands.

Expected outcome

The project configuration and CLI options point to the selected Solana environment and wallet path.

Guide limitations

  • Configuration instructions do not verify that a deployment is available.
  • Review wallet and RPC settings before submitting transactions.

Build, deploy and initialize a staking pool

Build the Anchor program, deploy it, then initialize its global staking pool.

Before you start

  • Node.js and Yarn
  • Rust and Solana CLI
  • Anchor CLI
  • A funded Solana wallet keypair
  • A configured cluster, RPC endpoint and program ID

Steps

  1. Build the program with anchor build.

  2. Get the generated program ID and update it in declare_id! and the relevant Anchor.toml program entry.

  3. Rebuild with anchor build and deploy with solana program deploy ./target/deploy/staking.so.

  4. Initialize the global pool with yarn script init.

  5. If rewards are enabled, fund the reward vault with the configured reward token mint.

Expected outcome

The documented workflow ends with the global staking pool initialized for the deployment.

Guide limitations

  • The instructions do not establish that deployment or transactions have been executed successfully.
  • Keep the program ID synchronized and review wallet and RPC configuration before submitting transactions.
