Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when preparing code-based generative or interactive artwork for a Bitcoin Ordinals inscription, particularly when you want a local preview and a compact final HTML build.
Who it is for
- Artists creating code-based Ordinals artwork
- Developers preparing interactive 3D or generative projects for Bitcoin inscription
Documented uses
- Build a Three.js project for local browser preview and final HTML output.
- Prepare p5.js sketches or compress HTML, CSS and JavaScript for inscription.
- Check artwork code size and view build size and estimated inscription-cost reports.
Requirements & limits
The repository quick-start requires Node.js 18 or later.
- Choose between dedicated Three.js and p5.js build workflows or the general HTML compression workflow.
- The local Three.js preview and final inscription-ready file are separate build stages.
- The README describes OCM Dimensions Studio as a browser-based IDE inscribed on Bitcoin, distinct from the repository's local tools.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
