Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when you have an NFT contract address and want structured collection data as CSV files for further analysis.
Who it is for
- NFT analysts who need collection-level transfer and sales data in CSV form.
- Developers building repeatable command-line workflows for NFT metadata and rarity analysis.
Documented uses
- Export token transfer records for an NFT contract.
- Gather historical sales information, including marketplace, prices and fees.
- Extract item attributes and calculate attribute-level and overall rarity scores.
Requirements & limits
The command-line workflow requires an Alchemy API key. The repository is public and specifies the AGPL-3.0 license.
- The input is an NFT contract address paired with an Alchemy API key.
- The documented outputs are three CSV files rather than an interactive analytics interface.
- Dependencies can be installed with Poetry or pip; the README also describes using Docker Compose.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
