Meme Radar

Meme Radar is a locally run, read-only desktop application that discovers and filters meme-token candidates using AVE trending data and supported-chain market data from DexScreener. It presents candidate cards and available risk evidence for human review, without wallet-key handling, transaction signing or trading functions.

Practical overview

When it fits

Use Meme Radar when you want a locally run, read-only discovery workflow that narrows candidate lists and organizes available evidence before your own review.

Who it is for

  • People who want to scan meme-token candidates across selected chains from a local desktop application.
  • Token researchers who want market and risk evidence presented for manual inspection.

Documented uses

  • Discover trending meme-token candidates through AVE.
  • Poll one to three selected chain entrances and filter candidates using available market and risk signals.
  • Review candidate cards, save favorites or notes, and export scan records.
  • Open a candidate’s detailed market page for separate review.
Before you choose

Requirements & limits

The repository provides Windows x64 and macOS packages. Scanning requires the user’s AVE API key, stored locally. The Windows portable package includes its runtime; the macOS startup process checks for Node.js and can obtain a project-specific runtime if needed.

  • The quick-scan mode does not automatically deep-review every token; GoPlus and DexScreener can supply additional evidence in a deep-review flow.
  • The README lists BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Base, Ethereum and Robinhood entrances; Robinhood is described as AVE-only observation.
  • Supported-chain DexScreener batch data supplements candidate cards without additional AVE CU consumption, but source coverage is not enumerated for every chain.
  • Risk filters are screening signals, not a contract audit or assurance of safety or performance.
  • Scanning, alerts and reminders depend on local operation; desktop alerts require permission and an open page.

Source-based practical guide

Install and connect Meme Radar

Start the local scanner and configure AVE for read-only candidate scanning.

Before you start

  • Windows 10/11 x64 or macOS.
  • An AVE API key.
  • For macOS, a writable folder for the extracted package.

Steps

  1. Download and extract the package for your operating system. On Windows, extract the archive before running the executable.

  2. Start the application: double-click MemeRadar-OpenSource.exe on Windows; on macOS, run the included installation and startup command file.

  3. Open the local page if it does not open automatically: http://127.0.0.1:3791/.

  4. In Settings and run log, enter the AVE API key under AVE API, then choose Save / Test. After successful validation, save and start read-only scanning.

Expected outcome

The local application can use the configured AVE key to begin read-only scans; the key is retained on the computer for later restarts.

Guide limitations

  • Keep the Windows startup window open; closing it stops the local scanner.
  • On macOS, the first run may check for Node.js and download a project-specific runtime if a compatible environment is missing.
  • Requests share local limits and budgets; actual AVE consumption depends on the account. The default quick scan does not automatically deep-review each token.
  • Meme Radar does not sign transactions or place orders.
