Practical overview
When it fits
Use HTX.Net when building a .NET application that needs structured access to HTX REST or WebSocket APIs, rather than a ready-made exchange interface or trading bot.
Who it is for
- C#/.NET developers building software that connects to HTX.
- Teams integrating HTX market data or trading operations into their own applications.
- Developers seeking shared exchange interfaces for common operations across supported exchanges.
Documented uses
- Retrieve HTX spot or futures market data through REST calls.
- Subscribe to ticker updates over WebSocket.
- Submit documented spot or futures trading requests from an application.
- Use shared interfaces for common exchange operations where the relevant capability is exposed.
Requirements & limits
The repository identifies the project as open source under the MIT license and documents NuGet, GitHub Packages, and release-download installation options.
- The library targets .NET Standard 2.0 and 2.1 and newer .NET versions; listed implementations include .NET Core, .NET Framework, Mono, Xamarin, UWP, and Unity.
- Trading requests require configuring HTX API credentials in the documented order example; the ticker and WebSocket examples do not show credentials.
- Shared API interfaces expose only the capabilities supported by each API surface.
- The repository documents client-side rate limiting, WebSocket reconnection management, an order-book implementation, logging, and Native AOT support.

Install HTX.Net from NuGet
Add the HTX.Net package to a .NET project.
Before you start
- A .NET project
- NuGet package access
Steps
Open a terminal in the project directory.
Run
dotnet add package JKorf.HTX.Net.
Expected outcome
The project is configured to use the HTX.Net NuGet package.
Guide limitations
- This installs the library only; it does not configure credentials or demonstrate an exchange request.
Retrieve an ETH/USDT ticker with REST
Use HTX.Net to request the ETH/USDT ticker and read its close price.
Before you start
- HTX.Net installed in a .NET project
Steps
Create an
HTXRestClient.Call
restClient.SpotApi.ExchangeData.GetTickerAsync("ETHUSDT").Read the close price from
tickerResult.Data.ClosePrice.
Expected outcome
The example obtains the ticker response and accesses its close price.
Guide limitations
- The example does not show response error handling or demonstrate a successful live exchange request.
