Practical overview
When it fits
Use GoTrading-js when building an Ethereum NFT product that needs a shared SDK for order discovery and marketplace trading workflows, rather than a standalone consumer marketplace.
Who it is for
- Developers building NFT marketplace aggregators or trading interfaces.
- Teams integrating order retrieval and marketplace trading operations into their products.
Documented uses
- Aggregate NFT orders and marketplace functionality in one product.
- Retrieve orders by contract, NFT, IDs or maker.
- Create, fulfill or cancel listings and offers where the marketplace integration supports those operations.
- Add documented bulk listing and bulk buying workflows.
Requirements & limits
The README directs developers to contact support for an API key or custom plan.
- Marketplace capabilities differ: OpenSea, Blur, LooksRare and X2Y2 are listed for creating and fulfilling orders and cancellations; many other listed integrations are fulfillment-only.
- Ethereum Mainnet is listed as supported; Sepolia and Polygon are labeled “Coming Soon” in the README.
- Initialization requires an API key, Ethereum provider and wallet configuration.
- The repository specifies a BSD-3-Clause license.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Install and initialize GoTrading-js
Prepare a Node.js project and initialize the SDK with an Ethereum provider and required configuration.
Before you start
- Node.js 16.14 or later
- web3 1.8.2 or later
- ethers 5.6.9 or later and below 6.1
- An Ethereum provider, API key, wallet address and private key
Steps
Install the SDK with npm install @nftgo/gotrading or yarn add @nftgo/gotrading.
Import init and Config from @nftgo/gotrading and create a Web3 Ethereum provider.
Configure the API key, provider and wallet details, then call init to obtain the aggregator, utils and orderFetcher objects.
Expected outcome
A configured SDK instance exposing aggregator, utility and order-fetching objects.
Guide limitations
- The README says to contact support to obtain an API key or request a custom plan.
- This setup sequence does not itself demonstrate a completed marketplace transaction.
