Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when building a Web3 application or wallet that needs OAuth sign-in linked to non-custodial key infrastructure.
Who it is for
- Developers adding OAuth login to a Web3 application or wallet.
- Teams connecting user sign-in methods to non-custodial wallet key infrastructure.
Documented uses
- Add passwordless OAuth sign-in to a Web3 app.
- Connect login methods with non-custodial wallet key infrastructure.
- Choose a package build or browser CDN distribution for an integration.
Requirements & limits
- The README lists Google, Twitter and Discord as OAuth login examples.
- Distribution options include ESM, CommonJS, jsDelivr and unpkg.
- The README says CDN builds and the CommonJS build are not core-js polyfilled by default.
- Integration requires the application domain to be whitelisted through the developer dashboard.
- Repository build requirements include Node.js 22+ and @babel/runtime.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
