Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when a command-line workflow is appropriate for generating configured trading activity on a supported Solana market, such as for development or liquidity testing.
Who it is for
- Solana token developers conducting liquidity testing or legitimate volume-generation work.
- Operators who need configurable automated trading activity on supported PumpSwap or Raydium markets.
Documented uses
- Generate buy-and-sell volume for a token on PumpSwap or Pump.fun.
- Target Raydium CPMM with a pool ID or OpenBook with a market ID.
- Configure wallet and bundle counts, transaction size ranges, delays and Jito tips.
- Use pool detection and Token-2022 handling in supported volume workflows.
Requirements & limits
The project is a public GitHub repository identified as MIT-licensed. The documented interface is a CLI; setup requires Node.js v16 or later, the Solana CLI, an RPC URL and wallet configuration.
- PumpSwap is targeted by token mint; Raydium CPMM requires a pool ID and OpenBook a market ID.
- The setup uses a wallet file and RPC endpoint, and the README lists SOL funding as a requirement for transactions.
- Jito bundling is supported, with an optional Jito authentication key in the example environment configuration.
- The tool generates market activity; its README warns against manipulation or misleading investors.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Configure the CLI for volume generation
Prepare the repository and environment configuration for a run.
Before you start
- Node.js v16 or later
- Solana CLI installed
- Wallet JSON file
- Solana RPC URL
Steps
Clone the repository and enter its directory.
Install dependencies with npm install.
Copy .env.example to .env.
Set WALLET_PATH and RPC_URL in .env; configure JITO_AUTH_KEY if using the documented Jito setup.
Expected outcome
The repository has its dependencies installed and environment settings in place for the documented CLI workflow.
Guide limitations
- This covers setup only; it does not verify a run or a successful transaction.
- The README identifies sufficient SOL, a valid token mint or pool/market ID, and RPC availability as operational requirements.
