Requirements & limits

The project is open source under the MIT license. Its README lists ComfyUI and Python 3.8 or later as requirements.

  • The documented assistant integration is with Claude Code through MCP.
  • Installation is as a ComfyUI custom node, with CLI, ComfyUI Manager and Git-clone methods documented.
  • The embedded terminal and MCP server are separate interface and workflow-control components.
  • The image-viewing tool reads outputs from ComfyUI Preview Image and Save Image nodes.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
