Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when building a React dApp on TON that needs an in-app wallet connection and transaction-request flow.
Who it is for
- React developers adding TON wallet connection to a dApp
- Teams that need a wallet-selection modal and wallet event handling in a TON application
Documented uses
- Present TON wallet connection options through a React modal.
- Listen for wallet connection, disconnection and error events.
- Request a transaction through a connected wallet.
Requirements & limits
The package is identified as open source under the MIT License.
- The documented integration targets React and uses TypeScript.
- The connector is created outside the React component.
- The dApp URL, name and network are constructor inputs; a TON Connect manifest URL is optional.
- The modal must be rendered among the root React component's children.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Set up TON wallet connection components in a React app
Install DeLab Connect, configure its connector and add the documented wallet button and modal.
Before you start
- A React application
- Yarn
- The dApp URL, name and network for the connector
Steps
Install the package with
yarn add @delab-team/connect.Create a
DeLabConnectinstance outside the React component, passing the dApp URL, name and network; the TON Connect manifest URL is optional.Pass the connector object to
DeLabButtonandDeLabModal.Place
DeLabModalamong the root React component's children and choose the documented light or dark scheme.
Expected outcome
The React app includes the documented TON wallet button and modal connected to a configured connector.
Guide limitations
- The connector is required to be created outside the React component.
Subscribe to wallet events and request a TON transaction
Follow the README's event-listener and transaction-request pattern.
Before you start
- A configured
DeLabConnectinstance - A transaction destination and value expressed as a string in nano-coins
Steps
Register listeners for the documented
connect, disconnectand relevant error events. In the connection handler, prepare a transaction with a destination and nano-coin value.
Call
sendTransactionwith the transaction object.Call
loadWallet()after installing the subscriptions.
Expected outcome
The app follows the documented pattern for observing wallet events and requesting a transaction through the connector.
Guide limitations
- The README provides an example pattern, not a verified transaction result.
- The example does not document a complete error-handling implementation.
Compare options for Wallet connections
These projects document a common task and share a project role. This is a source-based comparison, not an execution benchmark or a guarantee of interchangeability.
