Source-based practical guide

Set up listing monitoring with optional Telegram alerts

Configure and start the bot to detect new Magic Eden listings, with Telegram notifications if desired.

Before you start

  • A Solana RPC endpoint
  • A Telegram bot API key only if Telegram notifications are wanted
  • The Go project repository

Steps

  1. Clone the me-sniper repository.

  2. Enter the Solana RPC endpoint in configs/values_local.yaml.

  3. Add the Telegram bot API key if notifications are wanted; otherwise omit that setting.

  4. Run go run cmd/me-sniper/main.go. If using Telegram, send /start to the bot.

Expected outcome

The bot monitors new listings and provides logs; Telegram notifications are available when configured.

Guide limitations

  • The README documents listing and purchase event logs, including timestamps, collection and token names, price, rarity, rank, supply, seller and buyer.
  • Automatic buying requires additional credentials and conditions; this setup guide does not configure it.
