Practical overview
When it fits
Use PumpCopy when you need a Windows desktop tool to monitor selected Solana wallets and configure copying of their Pump.fun or PumpSwap trades. Its paper mode and demo feed are intended for observing copy behavior before enabling live trades.
Who it is for
- Solana users who want to observe selected wallets and configure copied trades.
- Developers interested in a C#/.NET 8 and WPF example of wallet monitoring and Pump.fun/PumpSwap trade routing.
Documented uses
- Monitor multiple leader wallets for Pump.fun trade events.
- Copy buys using a fixed SOL amount or an amount proportional to a leader’s trade.
- Mirror partial and full leader exits through proportional sells.
- Limit copied activity with trade-size, position-count, migrated-curve, and delay filters.
- Review live activity, session statistics, and rolling logs.
Requirements & limits
The README documents a Windows 10/11 x64 release build and a from-source path using .NET 8. Live trading setup requires an imported Solana wallet with SOL and an RPC endpoint.
- The documented supported trading venues are Pump.fun bonding curves and PumpSwap.
- Copy sells are proportional to the leader’s sale, and a full leader exit closes the copied token position.
- The application offers paper mode and a demo feed; its README recommends using these before funding live trades.
- From-source setup requires the custom Solgrid.Pumpfun SDK repository checked out alongside PumpCopy.
- Additional venue support requires corresponding event decoding and trade-routing changes.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Set up the Windows release build
Prepare PumpCopy with an RPC endpoint, imported trading wallet, and selected leader accounts.
Before you start
- Windows 10/11 x64
- Solana wallet with SOL for trades
- RPC endpoint
- Stable, fast internet connection
Steps
Download the release binaries and unpack them.
Run PumpCopy.App.exe; the first start creates config.json beside the application.
Add RPC endpoints in the Connection tab and save.
Import and select a trading wallet in the Wallet tab, then save.
Add whale accounts in the Main tab and press START.
Expected outcome
The app is set up to monitor the added accounts and display activity in its feed. The README recommends first keeping paper mode and the demo feed on.
Guide limitations
- This guide covers the release build; it does not establish that live trades were tested.
- Live trading involves financial risk; the project warns against using a main wallet or high balances.
Run PumpCopy from source
Start the application from its source project after checking out the required SDK alongside it.
Before you start
- .NET 8 runtime
- The PumpCopy repository
- The custom Solgrid.Pumpfun SDK repository checked out next to PumpCopy
Steps
Clone the PumpCopy repository.
Check out the required SDK repository next to it.
Run dotnet run --project src/PumpCopy.App from the PumpCopy project.
Expected outcome
The documented command starts the PumpCopy application from source.
Guide limitations
- The source instructions do not document build or run verification in this profile.
