Practical overview
When it fits
Use Sno Station when a coding workflow spans supported agents and you want shared context for handoffs or a separate agent review.
Who it is for
- People already using one or more of Sno Station’s supported coding agents.
- Developers who want agents to share project context and pass work between them.
Documented uses
- Keep task context available when handing work from one connected agent to another.
- Ask a different agent to review an agent’s work.
- Consolidate agent memory and review proposed skill improvements through the overnight REM process.
Requirements & limits
The README says Sno Station runs on the user’s computer without an account, server or daemon for its local operation. The cloud side is optional; some modes describe cloud processing or uploads.
- Sno Station is a coordination application for supported agents, not a replacement coding agent.
- Local First, REM Enhanced and Agent Native differ in how memory and session data are processed.
- In Agent Native mode, daily session uploads for cloud lessons and skill review are enabled by default according to the README, with settings to turn them off.
- REM skill changes are proposals and do not take effect until approved.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

- At least one supported agent: Codex, Claude Code, Hermes Agent, Cursor or OpenClaw.

Run
~/.local/bin/sno setup. To connect only one agent, add the documented
--harnessoption withcodex, claude, hermes, cursororopenclaw. In a supported agent conversation, enter
Sno onboardand follow its onboarding.
Expected outcome
Sno Station is installed and the selected or detected agent connections can be onboarded.
Guide limitations
- The README describes setup and onboarding; this recipe does not establish that a particular agent installation will connect successfully.
- Cloud-linked options have separate data flows described in the README.
