Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when an agent workflow needs a reusable, task-specific instruction set rather than a general chat prompt, especially for goal definition, project handoff or recurring research and writing tasks.
Who it is for
- Developers using Claude Code, Codex or compatible agent clients.
- Teams creating shared, repeatable agent workflows.
- Users who want task-specific instruction sets for planning, project maintenance, research or writing.
Documented uses
- Turn an ambiguous development request into a goal with completion criteria and boundaries.
- Reconcile project documentation, agent rules and memory after a task.
- Create reusable agent workflows for research, writing, storage analysis or AI information retrieval.
- Package team-specific capabilities in a shared Skill collection.
Requirements & limits
The repository is public and displays an MIT license. The README describes use with Claude Code and Codex and provides a fallback based on the relevant SKILL.md file for agents without native Skill support.
- Select an individual skill based on the task; the repository is a collection rather than one unified hosted application.
- The documented format is AgentSkills Standard, with Claude Code and Codex named as clients.
- A runtime-specific compatibility claim beyond the named clients remains Likely compatible, not demonstrated.
- The repository is Python-based, but the listed Skills are delivered as structured instruction files.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Install an individual Khazix Skill from GitHub
Add a selected skill to a Claude Code or Codex workflow using the repository’s documented installation pattern.
Before you start
- Claude Code, Codex or another agent environment that supports Agent Skills.
- The URL of an individual skill directory, such as neat-freak, hv-analysis or khazix-writer.
Steps
Tell the supported agent to install the skill from its GitHub directory URL.
Replace the skill-name placeholder with the selected directory name.
If the agent does not support Skills, download that directory’s SKILL.md and provide it as a project rule or in the agent conversation.
Expected outcome
The selected instruction set is supplied to the agent in a documented Skill or project-rule form.
Guide limitations
- The material describes installation and loading, not a runtime-specific execution test.
- Compatibility with a specific unnamed runtime is Likely compatible rather than demonstrated.
