What this tool does

Maximum 2,000 lines per input. Line endings are compared as LF. Case, spaces and Unicode spelling are preserved. Final newline presence is reported separately. The result is a readable comparison, not a patch file.

Use the example to understand the accepted input. Field names, when applicable, are literal. Inputs are not executed, and Sitemap Inspector never requests the listed URLs.

Worker processing stops after 20 seconds; results are limited to 5 MiB. Initial sitemap XML parsing runs locally before that worker timeout. Inputs and results are cleared when you reload the page. Nothing is executed from the supplied files.

A practical example

Compare small configuration snapshots or notes line by line before applying a change.

Example input

Before: status=draft
After: status=published

What to expect

One removed line and one added line. Case and spaces matter; the presence of a final newline is reported separately.

Use the controls above to enter this example. Load example may use a different sample; check the selected operation and options.
