Practical overview
When it fits
Use Xcash when you need to operate your own gateway for EVM-token or Tron USDT payments and can manage server deployment, RPC access, wallet configuration and integration.
Who it is for
- Merchants accepting token payments for ecommerce orders or subscriptions.
- Platforms that credit user balances from dedicated cryptocurrency deposit addresses.
- Developers integrating crypto billing through a REST API or EasyPay V1-compatible system.
Documented uses
- Create fixed-amount, time-limited payment invoices.
- Assign dedicated deposit addresses and credit top-ups after blockchain confirmation.
- Match incoming transactions to bills, track confirmations and notify connected systems.
- Connect payment events to an existing service using API calls and webhooks.
Requirements & limits
The primary service is self-hosted. The repository describes Docker Compose deployment on a Linux server and identifies the software as MIT-licensed and open source. A separate cloud service is mentioned, but its terms are not covered here.
- The invoice and top-up workflows serve different needs: time-limited fixed bills versus reusable user deposit addresses.
- EVM chains accept ERC-20 tokens; Tron support is specified for USDT and native TRX, not other TRC-20 assets.
- Operators configure RPC endpoints and fund the system wallet with gas; Tron requires a TronGrid API key.
- The API uses HMAC-SHA256 authentication, and documented webhooks retry events with nonce-based deduplication.
- The system’s smart-contract routing and automatic collection behavior depend on correct wallet and chain configuration.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Deploy the Xcash gateway with Docker Compose
Start the self-hosted service and configure its initial administrative access.
Before you start
- Linux server with Docker
- A domain name pointed to the server
- Reverse proxy configured to forward traffic and provide TLS
Steps
Clone the Xcash repository and enter its directory.
Run
./scripts/init_env.shto create.envand generate random secrets.Set
SITE_DOMAINin.envto the deployment domain.Run the command below.
docker compose up -dStore the generated administrator password from the script output or
.envin a password manager.
Expected outcome
The Docker Compose service is started, with an initial administrator account and domain setting configured.
Guide limitations
- This setup does not complete chain or payment configuration; RPC endpoints, gas funding, project settings and API integration are subsequent stages.
- The repository describes a reverse-proxy and TLS requirement; this guide does not establish that deployment or connectivity has been tested.
