Practical overview

When it fits

Use it when you want a Telegram-based interface for supported Solana token tracking and trading, and can manage the service’s self-hosted infrastructure and credentials.

Who it is for

  • Operators and developers prepared to configure and run a Node.js application with database, RPC and service credentials.

Documented uses

  • Configure automated trading strategies and settings.
  • View generated profit-and-loss cards.
Before you choose

Requirements & limits

  • Self-hosting requires Node.js, MongoDB and Redis, plus a Telegram bot token.
  • The setup instructions call for Solana RPC endpoints and Jito configuration, as well as credentials for listed external services.
  • The repository says wallet abstraction removes the need for user private keys; its configuration still includes RPC endpoints and a reserve wallet address.
  • The MIT-licensed repository lists Raydium, Jupiter and Pump.fun as supported venues and Jito integration for trade execution.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

  1. Clone the repository and change into its project directory.

  2. Install dependencies with the command below.

    Documented command
    npm i
  3. Copy .env.example to .env and supply the required configuration values.

  4. Start the service with the command below.
