Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when a Go application needs to interpret Bonkfun/Raydium Launchpad transaction instructions or assemble launchpad buy and sell instructions.
Who it is for
- Go developers building applications that process Bonkfun/Raydium Launchpad transaction data.
- Developers implementing launchpad buy or sell instruction construction in Solana applications.
Documented uses
- Convert top-level and inner Geyser instructions into structured creation, trade, swap and migration records.
- Keep multiple buys, sells and creation events distinct when they occur in one transaction.
- Track trade instruction changes across token migration.
- Construct and serialize buy and sell instructions before and after migration.
Requirements & limits
The project is a public GitHub repository. Its README states Go 1.24 (toolchain go1.24.4) and github.com/gagliardetto/solana-go v1.12.x as requirements; github.com/gagliardetto/binary v0.8.0 is listed as an optional helper.
- Input parsing is described for raw Geyser-format data with both level-1 and level-2 instructions and their inner-instruction data.
- Migration matters because the README says buy and sell instruction formats change after migration.
- The README describes buy/sell construction and serialization; token-creation instruction support is framed as an additional possibility.
- The README specifies separate parsing and submission structs rather than requiring conversion between them.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Plan Geyser transaction parsing for Bonkfun launchpad activity
Design a Go parser that maps Geyser transaction instructions into records for token creation, trades, migrations, and swaps.
Before you start
- Raw Solana transaction data containing level-1 and level-2 instructions in Geyser format.
- Go 1.24 (toolchain go1.24.4).
- github.com/gagliardetto/solana-go v1.12.x; github.com/gagliardetto/binary v0.8.0 may be used for binary-data helpers.
Steps
Read both top-level and inner instructions, including instruction parameters and data from internal instructions.
Collect relevant accounts and token details, including token and mint accounts, bonding-curve or pool PDAs, symbol, pool or curve size, and liquidity.
Represent parsed results in a transaction structure with creation, trade, migration, and swap records; retain separate buy and sell activity, including multiple trades within one transaction.
Handle migration events and parse trades after migration using the applicable instruction formats.
Expected outcome
A parser design that preserves distinct creation, trade, migration, and swap records and can aggregate multiple buys and sells in a transaction.
Guide limitations
- The README describes the parsing requirements but does not provide executable parser setup or implementation steps.
- Validation is described as requiring either a live Geyser stream or sample transactions; no sample inputs or test results are provided.
