Pulse

Pulse is a TypeScript application that analyzes short-horizon Solana token order flow, scoring trade imbalance, buyer acceleration, liquidity movement, wallet concentration and slippage pressure. It uses Helius transaction data and a Claude agent to validate momentum signals, classify regimes and produce alerts and a watchlist.

Understand the project

Practical overview

When it fits

Use it to examine whether a short-term Solana activity burst has broader participation and enough depth to appear more durable and exitable than a shallow spike.

Who it is for

  • Solana traders and researchers assessing whether buying pressure is broadening or fading.
  • Developers seeking a TypeScript starting point for short-horizon Solana flow analysis.

Documented uses

  • Compare short-term trade imbalance and buyer acceleration across tracked tokens.
  • Assess liquidity migration, wallet concentration and slippage pressure alongside buying activity.
  • Review pulse scores, regime state and validation notes to prioritize names for further analysis.
Before you choose

Requirements & limits

  • The described data flow uses recent Helius transactions and a Solana RPC connection.
  • The README's environment configuration names Helius and Anthropic API keys.
  • Pulse scores wallet entropy and slippage pressure as well as trade imbalance and buyer acceleration.
  • Depth filters, slippage caps and regime hysteresis shape which signals are promoted.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Set up Pulse locally

Install the repository dependencies, prepare the environment file and start the development command.

Before you start

  • Bun
  • Helius API key
  • Solana RPC URL
  • Anthropic API key

Steps

  1. Clone the Pulse repository.

  2. Change into the Pulse directory and run bun install.

  3. Copy .env.example to .env and configure the API keys and Solana RPC URL listed in the README.

  4. Run bun run dev.

Expected outcome

The documented development command is started with the project environment prepared.

Guide limitations

  • The quick start documents setup and command invocation, not a verified live scan or alert outcome.
  • Additional configuration variables are listed in the README for alert thresholds, depth, slippage and scan interval.
