Install and initialize PandaWiki on Linux
Install PandaWiki, sign in to its console, configure an AI model, and create a knowledge base.
Before you start
- A Linux server with Docker 20.x or later.
- Root access to the server.
- An AI model configuration; AI writing, Q&A, and search do not work normally until a model is configured.
Steps
As root on the Linux server, run the command below and follow the installer prompts.
bash -c "$(curl -fsSLk https://release.baizhi.cloud/panda-wiki/manager.sh)"When installation finishes, use the displayed access address, username, and password to sign in through a browser.
At first sign-in, configure an AI model using the one-click or manual option.
Create a knowledge base, which groups documents and has a corresponding Wiki site.
Expected outcome
PandaWiki is installed with an initialized knowledge base; its console can manage documents, and the knowledge base has a Wiki site.
Guide limitations
- AI writing, question answering, and search require an AI model configuration.
- This guide covers setup and knowledge-base creation, not document import or verification of AI answers.
- The documented installer requires Linux and Docker 20.x or later.
