Requirements & limits
The repository is public and marked open source under the Apache-2.0 license. Plugin installation is documented through Claude Code's plugin system.
- Plugins may contain MCP servers, files or other software, so review each plugin's homepage and contents before use.
- The standard structure supports optional MCP configuration, commands, agents, skills and documentation, but individual plugin capabilities depend on their contents.
- Plugin names are immutable slugs; changing a published name can break installations unless a documented rename mapping is used.
- The directory includes both Anthropic-developed and external plugins, separated into different repository paths.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
