Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when you want to monitor supported Antminer hardware through a self-hosted web interface rather than inspect each device's metrics separately.
Who it is for
- Antminer operators who want a web dashboard for miner telemetry.
- Users managing multiple listed Antminer models and comparing their combined hashrate.
Documented uses
- Review hashrate, temperature, fan speed, chip condition, hardware error rate and uptime.
- Spot miner errors through in-app notifications and log errors to a file.
- Compare total hashrate across miner models.
Requirements & limits
The project is published under the GPL-3.0 license. Its README describes a password-protected login and an administrator account created during setup.
- Python 3 is required.
- The documented model list is Antminer-specific; confirm that your model appears before choosing the application.
- In-app miner error notifications require a page refresh.
- The README's default run command uses Flask's development server and documents a separate production-mode setting.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Install and start the web application
Set up Antminer Monitor and open its local web interface.
Before you start
- Python 3
- A downloaded project release or master archive
- A terminal or command prompt
Steps
Download a release or the master archive, extract it, and open a terminal in the extracted project folder.
Install the project requirements with the command below.
python -m pip install -r requirements.txtCreate the database with the command below.

python manage.py create-adminStart the app with the command below, then open
http://localhost:5000on the same machine.python manage.py run -h 0.0.0.0 -p 5000
Expected outcome
The README's setup sequence prepares the database and administrator login and starts the web interface on port 5000.
Guide limitations
- The README says Mac users may need to run installation commands with sudo.
- The default server is Flask's development server; the README describes production-mode configuration separately.
