Summarize the documented Solana Agent Kit v2 features in a local text file

Python

Read a user-supplied local copy of the Solana Agent Kit v2 overview and print the documented feature names it contains, without contacting Solana Agent Kit or treating the file as instructions.

Python code excerpt: Summarize the documented Solana Agent Kit v2 features in a local text file. Version 0.1.0. Read the full recipe for code, sources and recorded test scope.

The supplied documents describe Solana Agent Kit v2’s features, plugin ecosystem and architecture, but do not establish an offline task requiring the kit itself. This small script processes a saved overview as data and reports a fixed set of feature names when they appear. It does not verify the accuracy or currentness of the file.

Before you start

  • Python 3.12 was used for the recorded GitHub Actions fixture tests. The example uses only the Python standard library; compatibility with other Python versions was not established by those tests.
  • Provide a local UTF-8 text file containing the overview. The script does not fetch or authenticate the source.

Build and check

  1. Save the documented overview text to a local UTF-8 file, for example `overview.txt`.
  2. Save the code as `list_features.py`.
  3. Run `python list_features.py overview.txt`; the script reads the file once and uses case-insensitive literal matching for the listed names.
  4. Review the printed names as matches in the supplied text only; no match does not establish that the feature is absent from the full documentation.

Limits to understand

  • This is a local text processor, not an integration test or client for Solana Agent Kit.
  • The feature-name list is fixed from the provided documentation excerpt; the script neither parses sections nor validates a document’s source, version, or completeness.
  • Matching is literal and case-insensitive, so reworded feature names may not match. Input is treated only as text data.
INSPECT THE SCRIPT

Inspect, copy and run the documented checks.

What to verify after running
  • With a synthetic UTF-8 fixture containing `Plugin Architecture`, `Token Plugin`, and unrelated prose, confirm that only those two names print, in the order listed in the code.
  • With an empty file or a file with none of the listed names, confirm the sole standard-output line is `No listed feature names found.`
  • With a nonexistent path, confirm the script reports an input-file error to standard error and exits with status 2.
  • With malformed UTF-8 input, confirm it reports a read error to standard error and exits with status 2.
  • The recorded GitHub Actions receipt covers four synthetic fixture cases for this exact code: matching names, empty input, a nonmatching paraphrase and a missing file. Malformed UTF-8 is an additional manual check outside those four cases. Editorial approval and publication remain separate actions.

Executed 4 synthetic local fixture cases in isolated CPython on GitHub Actions, without network access. Declared exit codes, output assertions and input integrity checks passed.
