Understand the project

Practical overview

When it fits

Use Atlas when you need to examine whether activity among monitored Solana wallets appears to lead, follow or crowd a sector movement, rather than simply noting that a wallet moved.

Who it is for

  • Solana analysts monitoring activity across selected wallets.
  • Operators interested in identifying leading wallet moves and subsequent follower activity.

Documented uses

  • Track recent activity from a curated wallet set.
  • Map origin wallets and follower propagation.
  • Assess sector context, movement timing and similarity.
  • Review alerts classifying flows as originating, propagating, rotating or distributing.

Requirements & limits

The project is available as a public GitHub repository. Its documented local setup uses Bun and requires Anthropic and Helius API keys.

  • Atlas depends on a curated tracked-wallet set and Helius activity data.
  • Its flow interpretation uses timing, size similarity, sector overlap and follower saturation.
  • Documented configuration includes confidence, propagation-lag and copy-saturation thresholds.
  • The repository identifies TypeScript as its primary language and references the Claude Agent SDK.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Set up Atlas from its repository

Prepare the documented local development setup for Atlas.

Before you start

  • Git
  • Bun
  • An Anthropic API key
  • A Helius API key

Steps

  1. Clone the Atlas repository.

  2. Change into the repository directory and install dependencies with Bun.

  3. Copy .env.example to .env and provide the Anthropic and Helius API keys.

  4. Start the documented development command with bun run dev.

Expected outcome

The documented development startup command is invoked with the project dependencies and API-key configuration in place.

Guide limitations

  • The repository instructions do not establish a hosted deployment method.
  • The documented setup does not by itself establish the contents or behavior of a running instance.
