Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when a merchant system needs to connect order creation and payment confirmation to on-chain USDT or USDC checkout.
Who it is for
- Merchants adding USDT or USDC checkout to an existing business system.
- Developers implementing order creation, transaction matching and payment-status handling.
Documented uses
- Create a server-side payment order and obtain a checkout URL.
- Match an on-chain payment to a merchant order.
- Receive payment-status notifications and confirm order state through a query endpoint.
- Offer USDT and USDC payment options on documented blockchain networks.
Requirements & limits
- The documented assets are USDT and USDC on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Solana, Sui, TRON and Polkadot AssetHub.
- The payment flow is described as non-custodial; the service does not take possession of funds or perform transfers or settlement.
- The documented integration uses signed server-side order creation and recommends webhook verification or an order query; browser redirects are not proof of payment.
- The repository is public, but its metadata does not specify a license.
- The README says the service currently charges no platform transaction service fee, excluding blockchain network, wallet and third-party fees; it notes that fee policies may change.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Set up a merchant checkout integration
Configure a receiving option and connect server-side order creation, customer checkout and payment confirmation.
Before you start
- Merchant dashboard access via QR-code sign-in with WalletConnect.
- A receiving address and a supported network/token choice.
- A generated Payment Key; protect credentials and do not commit secrets to a public repository.
- A merchant server able to make signed HTTP API requests; an optional callback URL for notifications.
Steps
Configure the receiving address and select a supported network/token combination in the merchant dashboard.
Generate a Payment Key and, if needed, configure a callback URL.
Create the payment order server-side with a signed POST /dspay/public/order/create request and receive the order number and checkout URL.
Send the customer to the checkout URL to select a network/token and confirm payment.
Verify the webhook or query the order with POST /dspay/public/order/query; do not treat a browser redirect as payment proof.
Expected outcome
A merchant order is linked to the checkout and can be confirmed through a webhook or order query.
Guide limitations
- A callback URL is optional; the order-query endpoint is documented as the authoritative fallback.
- The listed networks and tokens are those named in the repository documentation; availability and transaction finality are not guaranteed.
- Merchants are responsible for applicable legal and business requirements.
