Solana Tracker Data API SDK

Solana Tracker Data API SDK is a JavaScript and TypeScript client for retrieving Solana token, price, wallet, trade, liquidity and real-time activity data from the Solana Tracker Data API. It also includes PnL analytics, Jupiter DCA data and a separate read-only client for Kalshi and Polymarket data.

Practical overview

When it fits

Use the SDK when building a JavaScript or TypeScript application that needs programmatic access to Solana Tracker Data API data, especially token and price lookups, scoped trade history, liquidity events or live activity.

Who it is for

  • JavaScript and TypeScript developers building applications that display or analyze Solana token and market data.
  • Developers who need wallet-scoped trade history, liquidity events or live token activity.
  • Teams building a read-only interface for data from Kalshi or Polymarket.

Documented uses

  • Retrieve token information and current prices for an application.
  • Query trade and liquidity history across a token’s pools, within one pool, or for a specified wallet.
  • Subscribe to live token swap or liquidity activity.
  • Build wallet PnL analytics or access Jupiter DCA data.
  • Read and display supported prediction-market data through the separate client.

Requirements & limits

The documented setup requires an API key. Streaming also requires the full WebSocket URL from the dashboard. Endpoint and Datastream access depend on the subscription; check the dashboard for current plans and limits.

  • The SDK supports JavaScript and TypeScript and provides TypeScript declarations, ES modules and CommonJS exports.
  • The documented Node.js setup requires a supported LTS release.
  • Datastream needs a native WebSocket or the optional ws package when optional dependencies are omitted.
  • History queries can be scoped to a token, pool, wallet, or wallet and pool combination.
  • Preserve liquidity amount strings to avoid precision loss.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Set up a Node.js client to read token details and price

Install the SDK, configure API-key access and request a token’s details and current price.

Before you start

  • A supported Node.js LTS release
  • An API key created in the Solana Tracker dashboard

Steps

  1. Install the package with npm install @solana-tracker/data-api.

  2. Keep SOLANA_TRACKER_API_KEY in the server environment or a secret manager.

  3. Create a Client with the API key and call getTokenInfo and getPrice for a token mint.

Expected outcome

The documented example retrieves token information and price through the Data API.

Guide limitations

  • API endpoint access depends on the subscription.
  • The SDK does not load environment files automatically.
Source-based practical guide

Request paginated token trade and liquidity history

Retrieve an ordered feed of token trades and liquidity events, then request another page when available.

Before you start

  • The SDK installed and a Client configured with an API key
  • A token mint

Steps

  1. Call getTokenTradeHistory with event mode, sort direction and a row limit.

  2. Read the returned trades array, distinguishing buy and sell events from liquidity additions and removals.

  3. If hasNextPage is true and nextCursor is not null, pass that cursor unchanged with the same scope, event mode and sort direction to request the next page.

Expected outcome

The client returns an ordered page of the selected activity and supports cursor-based continuation.

Guide limitations

  • The documented limit range is 1–500 rows.
  • Mixed and liquidity feeds use opaque string cursors; swaps use timestamp cursors.
  • Liquidity rows do not include swap price, volume or PnL fields.
