Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when you want to configure and coordinate wallet operations through a Python CLI and the required module and network integrations are listed by the project.
Who it is for
- People who operate multiple configured wallets and want to coordinate on-chain actions through a CLI.
- Users seeking documented bridge, swap, lending, NFT or approval modules for the tool's listed integrations.
Documented uses
- Configure accounts and RPC settings for command-line wallet operations.
- Carry out supported bridge deposits or withdrawals, token swaps, and lending actions.
- Arrange multiple swaps or other actions in sequential or randomized routes.
- Manage token approvals and check transaction counts.
Requirements & limits
The project is distributed as a public GitHub repository with a documented git clone setup.
- It requires local configuration of private keys, module settings and RPC endpoints.
- HTTP/S proxy configuration is supported; the README says one proxy is assigned per account and that fewer proxies than accounts limits how many accounts run.
- The README lists referral codes enabled for Odos, XY.Finance, OpenOcean and 1inch and says they can be turned off in config.py.
- The README marks L2Telegraph NFT bridging and messaging as Arbitrum Nova-only.
- Documentation names selected integrations and does not demonstrate support for arbitrary EVM networks.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Set up the CLI from its repository
Prepare the documented Python application and configure its required wallet and module inputs.
Before you start
- Python environment capable of installing the repository's requirements
- Private keys for entries in accounts.txt
- RPC settings in zksync/data/rpc.json
Steps
Clone https://github.com/czbag/zksync.git and change into the zksync directory.
Install dependencies with pip install -r requirements.txt.
Configure required modules in modules_settings.py and settings in settings.py.
Place account private keys in accounts.txt and configure the RPC file at zksync/data/rpc.json.
Start the program with python main.py.
Expected outcome
The documented setup sequence installs the CLI, applies configuration and starts main.py.
Guide limitations
- Network transactions require configured accounts, RPC settings and applicable integrated services.
