Practical overview
When it fits
Use it to browse community-listed memecoins, follow upcoming launches, or submit a coin for community discovery. Coin pages bring together directory participation and market information sourced through DexScreener.
Who it is for
- People comparing memecoin listings across supported chains.
- Token communities or submitters adding existing coins and upcoming launches to a shared directory.
- Visitors who want coin-level charts, market data, community voting and chat in one listing experience.
Documented uses
- Search listings and filter them by chain.
- Sort coins by votes, trending status or recency.
- Track countdowns for upcoming launches and the weekly Monday event.
- Submit coin listings, upvote coins and save selections to a watchlist.
- Review coin-level charts, market figures, scores, news and chat.
Requirements & limits
The project README describes email-and-password accounts with session cookies. It lists paid submission options: $19 for expedited review, $49 for trending placement and $59 for both; it says these features run in demo mode if neither payment provider is configured. The public GitHub repository has no license listed in the supplied metadata.
- Listings can be filtered by chain and sorted by votes, trending status or recency.
- Existing coins have DexScreener chart embeds and market data; upcoming launches are represented with countdown timers.
- The A–F Safety Score is an algorithmic indicator based on listed token and community signals, not a guarantee of safety.
- The repository documents a TypeScript, Next.js 14 stack with Turso/libsql, Drizzle ORM and Tailwind CSS.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Run the project locally
Start the documented local development server using its local SQLite database.
Before you start
- Node.js 18 or later
- npm
Steps
Clone the public repository: git clone https://github.com/nirholas/memescope-monday-directory.git
Change into the project directory: cd memescope-monday-directory
Install dependencies with npm install.
Start the development server with npm run dev.
Expected outcome
The README says the app runs at http://localhost:3000 with a local SQLite database that auto-seeds with sample data.
Guide limitations
- This is the documented local-development setup, not a production deployment guide.
Prepare a Vercel deployment with Turso
Configure the documented Turso database credentials and deploy the project to Vercel.
Before you start
- A Turso account and database
- Vercel CLI, installed as documented with npm i -g vercel
Steps
Install the Turso CLI using the command in the repository README.
Authenticate with turso auth signup, then create a database with turso db create memescope-monday.
Retrieve the database URL with turso db show memescope-monday --url and create a token with turso db tokens create memescope-monday.
Run vercel, add TURSO_DATABASE_URL and TURSO_AUTH_TOKEN with vercel env add, then deploy with vercel --prod.
Expected outcome
The documented deployment path sends the app to Vercel with Turso database credentials configured.
Guide limitations
- The README also describes connecting the GitHub repository through Vercel's dashboard; environment variables still need to be added.
- Payment and news integrations have separate optional environment variables and are not required for the documented database deployment steps.
