Practical overview
When it fits
Use Alcor Exchange when you need on-chain market and order operations for eligible EOS.IO tokens on one of its documented networks.
Who it is for
- Traders seeking to exchange supported EOS.IO tokens against system tokens.
- Token market operators creating markets for supported assets.
- Developers evaluating an open-source Vue interface for EOSIO exchange workflows.
Documented uses
- Create a token market by sending the documented transfer and memo to the exchange contract.
- Submit an order by transferring the asset to sell and specifying the desired asset in the memo.
- Cancel a buy or sell order using its owner, market ID and order ID.
- Review the documented interface stack and network configuration when assessing or adapting the project.
Requirements & limits
- The README limits token eligibility to eosio.token-standard assets or fungible Simple Assets tokens.
- The listed networks are EOS Mainnet, WAX, Telos and Proton.
- Order submission and market creation use on-chain transfers with memo formats that must identify the relevant token.
- The source documents a Vue interface and names Hyperion, EOSIO Light API, Bloks.io and Greymass Full-History NODE API.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Submit a token sell order using a transfer memo

eostokensdexwith that memo.
Expected outcome

Guide limitations
- The documented instructions are for EOSIO tokens and name EOS Mainnet, WAX, Telos and Proton.
- Confirm the network, token contract and transfer details before sending an on-chain transaction.
Cancel an existing buy or sell order
Call the exchange action for the order type you want to cancel.
Before you start
