Understand the project

Practical overview

When it fits

Use it when building a Laravel application that needs to connect payment submissions and callback handling to GoUrl.io’s CryptoAPI Payment Gateway.

Who it is for

  • Laravel developers adding GoUrl.io cryptocurrency payment functionality to an application.
  • Teams that need to associate submitted payment data with users or orders and handle payment notifications in Laravel.

Documented uses

  • Add a payment route to a Laravel application and submit payment data through a form, AJAX request or session redirect.
  • Configure GoUrl.io payment-box keys and connect a Laravel callback route and IPN handler.
  • Pass either a BTC-denominated amount or a USD amount, with optional user, order and redirect references.
Before you choose

Requirements & limits

  • Requires configuring a GoUrl.io payment box, external wallet address, callback URL and per-coin public and private keys.
  • The documented callback route is publicly accessible without authentication; the README notes possible CSRF-exclusion setup.
  • Requests must provide either amount in BTC or amountUSD, not both.
  • The repository is public and lists an MIT license.

Source-based practical guide

Set up the Laravel package and GoUrl.io configuration

Install the library and prepare the documented payment-box credentials and Laravel configuration.

Before you start

  • A Laravel application with Composer and Artisan available.
  • A GoUrl.io account, a payment box, an external wallet address and callback URL.
  • Public and private keys for each coin payment box to support.

Steps

  1. Install the package with Composer using the documented package name.

  2. Publish the package configuration, migration and asset files with its documented Artisan provider command.

  3. Create the payment and callback routes, a PaymentController callback method and a static IPN handler.

  4. Place each payment box’s public and private keys in the application environment file.

Expected outcome

The package files and the documented Laravel and GoUrl.io configuration are in place for the next stage: submitting payment data and handling callbacks.

Guide limitations

  • This setup does not document a complete payment execution or verification procedure.
  • The callback route is described as publicly accessible without authentication; the README notes that CSRF exclusion may also be needed.
  • Payment requests specify either amount in BTC or amountUSD, not both.
