Practical overview

When it fits

Use it when a command-line workflow for configuring cross-chain stablecoin transfers or the listed wallet utilities fits your needs, and you can manage wallet keys securely.

Who it is for

  • People configuring repeatable stablecoin transfers across supported chains.
  • CLI users who need wallet balance checks, wallet generation or Bungee Refuel alongside bridging.
  • Operators comfortable with blockchain wallets and private-key handling.

Documented uses

  • Run a configurable cycle of stablecoin transfers between chains.
  • Make a one-time transfer along a listed directional route.
  • Check balances for configured wallets.
  • Generate a wallet key and associated address.
  • Use Bungee Refuel to send native tokens to a destination chain for fees.

Requirements & limits

The project is a public GitHub repository identified with an MIT license. The README specifies Python 3.11; Docker is optional.

  • Supported tokens differ by network: the README lists Polygon (USDC, USDT), Fantom (USDC), Avalanche (USDC, USDT), BSC (USDT), Arbitrum (USDC, USDT), Optimism (USDC) and Base (USDC).
  • The default cycle is Polygon to Avalanche to BSC and back to Polygon; one-way mode provides separately named routes.
  • The user configures amount bounds, cycle count and refuel amount in config.py.
  • Wallet keys are placed in a local environment file, making secure private-key handling a core prerequisite.

Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.

Source-based practical guide

Set up Layer Zero Bridger for configured transfers

Prepare the Python script with wallet keys and transfer parameters.

Before you start

  • Python 3.11
  • Blockchain and wallet knowledge, including secure private-key handling
  • Docker is optional

Steps

  1. Clone the repository and enter its directory.

  2. Install dependencies with the command below, or build the Docker image.

    Documented command
    pip install -r requirements.txt
  3. Add named wallet keys to private_keys.example.env and rename it to private_keys.env.

  4. Set transfer amount bounds, cycle count and Bungee Refuel amount in config.py.

Expected outcome

The repository and wallet/transfer configuration are prepared for the documented script usage.

Guide limitations
