Practical overview
When it fits
Use it when you want to add reusable context and task workflows to a compatible coding agent, particularly when you want a specification-first process or a focused review and analysis plugin.
Who it is for
- Developers who use coding agents and want reusable task-specific guidance.
- Teams seeking a structured specification and implementation workflow for agent-assisted coding.
- Users of Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Antigravity CLI, Cursor, OpenCode and other named coding environments.
Documented uses
- Install focused skills and commands into a coding agent.
- Turn an initial development prompt into a refined task specification.
- Guide an agent through implementation, then reflect on or review its output.
- Use structured workflows for research, hypothesis comparison or root-cause analysis.
Requirements & limits
The repository is public and identifies the project license as GPL-3.0. Installation is through the selected coding agent or its documented CLI workflow.
- Claude Code supports installing individual plugins after adding the marketplace.
- Gemini CLI and Antigravity CLI install the plugins as one bundle; unwanted skills and agents can be deleted afterward.
- The documented
npx skillsroute allows skill selection, but does not support subagents and therefore does not provide the full experience. - The skills are based on the agentskills.io specification.
Check current requirements in the official documentation. Source-based guidance does not mean OpenViST has run or independently tested this project.
Install selected plugins in Claude Code
Make Context Engineering Kit plugins available in Claude Code and install one chosen plugin.
Before you start
- Claude Code
- Access to a terminal or Claude Code command input
Steps
Add the marketplace with
/plugin marketplace add NeoLabHQ/context-engineering-kit.Install a plugin, for example
/plugin install reflexion@NeoLabHQ/context-engineering-kit.
Expected outcome
The selected plugin's agents, commands and skills are loaded into Claude's context.
Guide limitations
- Adding the marketplace makes plugins available but does not itself load their agents or skills.
Compare options for AI coding assistance
These projects document a common task and share a project role. This is a source-based comparison, not an execution benchmark or a guarantee of interchangeability.
| Project | Documented purpose | Platform | Access and requirements |
